A-102 Terrain, objects and movement analysis
Relief

Online terrain map

The relief is needed not as a reference text, but as a working check: where is higher, where is lower, what is the difference along the line and what is the height of the point.

Terrain Elevation changes Profile by line Work card

What tasks does it cover?

  • Quick assessment of the terrain by point, area or route.
  • Understanding where there are highs, lows and possible obstacles.
  • Preparation for routes, exits, sites and communications between objects.

How to use the page

  • First check the height of the desired point on the map.
  • If you need to understand the difference, add a second point and build a profile.
  • If the problem is more complex than a single line, move on to LOS, topo or building data.
Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is it possible to see the terrain between two points?

Yes. After setting two points, A-102 builds a profile of the terrain and shows the elevation differences along the line between them.

Is this a topographic map?

For the base scenario, this is a working terrain and elevation map. For a separate page on topographic scenarios in A-102 there are extended materials and a 3D model of the site after logging into your account.

Is the service suitable for engineering solutions without verification?

No. Data and calculations are useful as an analytical layer, but critical decisions need to be verified against independent sources and actual measurements.
